Installation

Professional installation is strongly recommended. Steering-wheel replacement involves the vehicle's airbag system, steering-wheel electronics, multifunction controls and, on equipped models, paddle shifters and heating components. The battery and restraint system should be handled according to Porsche service procedures.

Care Guide

Carbon Fiber: Clean exposed carbon fiber using a soft microfiber cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive compounds or harsh chemicals that may damage the clear coat.

Leather: Use a suitable automotive leather cleaner applied to a microfiber cloth. Avoid saturating perforated sections or stitching.

Alcantara: Use a dedicated Alcantara or suede-safe cleaner and a soft detailing brush. Do not use oily leather conditioners on Alcantara surfaces.

Protect From Heat and Chemicals: Avoid prolonged exposure to aggressive cleaning chemicals and excessive interior heat whenever possible to preserve the leather, Alcantara, stitching and carbon fiber finish.
