After conducting computer analysis and rigorous circuit testing, MG has created the Civic Type R (FK8) Wing Spoiler. They carefully examined the height, angle, and cross-sectional shape of the wing to achieve an ideal configuration. Through their efforts, they managed to enhance the coefficient of lift / rear (CLR) without introducing any increase in the coefficient of drag (CD). Moreover, this wing spoiler allows for precise downforce control with its adjustable angle, offering four different settings. Made of FRP Unpainted, the spoiler is remarkably lightweight, with GFRP weighing approximately 3.6 kg (as opposed to the standard 5.8 kg).
