Description

Upgrade the exhaust flow, response, and motorsport character of your Porsche 911 991.2 GT3 or GT3 RS 4.0L with these Performance Heat-Wrapped Exhaust Headers. Designed for the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine, this left and right header set replaces the factory exhaust manifolds with a freer-flowing tubular design intended for performance-focused street and track applications.

The headers feature individually routed primary tubes leading into performance collectors for smoother exhaust-gas evacuation. A high-temperature thermal wrap surrounds the tubing to help contain radiant exhaust heat around the engine bay. The system is designed around the factory cylinder-head mounting locations and uses performance-style outlet connections for integration with a compatible exhaust system.

Features

  • Performance Tubular Header Design: Individually routed primary tubes are designed to improve exhaust-gas flow compared with more restrictive factory manifold configurations.
  • Designed for the 4.0L Naturally Aspirated Engine: Developed for the high-revving 4.0-liter flat-six used in the Porsche 911 991.2 GT3 and GT3 RS.
  • Stainless Steel Construction: Built from heat-resistant stainless steel for strength, durability, and long-term performance in demanding exhaust environments.
  • Thermal Heat Wrapping: High-temperature exhaust wrap helps retain heat inside the header tubing and reduce radiant heat transfer within the surrounding engine compartment.
  • Improved Exhaust Flow: Performance collectors and smoother tubular routing are designed to reduce exhaust restriction and support more efficient gas evacuation.
  • Sharper Engine Response: Reduced exhaust restriction can support improved throttle response when combined with the appropriate exhaust system and engine calibration.
  • Aggressive Naturally Aspirated Sound: The freer-flowing header configuration can increase exhaust volume and sharpen the high-RPM character of the GT3's naturally aspirated flat-six.
  • Performance Collector Design: The individual primary tubes merge through carefully shaped collectors to promote smoother exhaust flow.
  • Motorsport-Inspired Construction: Designed for performance-oriented Porsche builds where exhaust flow, thermal management, and lightweight component design are priorities.
  • Pair Configuration: Supplied as a complete left and right header set for both cylinder banks.

Fitment

  • Porsche 911 991.2 GT3 4.0L - 2017-2019
  • Porsche 911 991.2 GT3 RS 4.0L - 2018-2019

Fitment Note: Designed specifically for Porsche 911 991.2 GT3 and GT3 RS models equipped with the naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine. This product is an exhaust header/manifold set; catalytic converters are not shown as part of the supplied components. Verify compatibility with the vehicle's existing catalytic converters, center exhaust system, oxygen sensors, and any aftermarket exhaust components before installation.

Performance & Tuning Note

Actual horsepower, torque, sound level, and throttle-response changes depend on the complete exhaust configuration and engine calibration. Exhaust modifications may trigger diagnostic fault codes if the factory catalyst or oxygen-sensor configuration is changed. ECU calibration may be required depending on the final setup.

These headers are designed for a naturally aspirated engine; they do not affect turbocharger spool because Porsche 911 991.2 GT3 and GT3 RS 4.0L models are naturally aspirated.

Installation

Professional installation is strongly recommended. Installation requires removal of the factory exhaust manifolds and correct alignment of the replacement headers with the cylinder heads and downstream exhaust components. New exhaust gaskets and appropriate high-temperature hardware should be used where required.

After installation, inspect all fasteners, flange connections, oxygen-sensor locations, and exhaust clearances. Recheck mounting hardware after the first several complete heat cycles to ensure the system remains correctly secured.

Emissions & Road-Use Notice

Exhaust-system modifications may affect emissions compliance, noise regulations, warranty coverage, and road legality depending on your location. The purchaser and installer are responsible for confirming compliance with applicable local regulations before installation or road use.

Production & Shipping

  • Lead Time: 2 weeks
  • Delivery: 1 week
  • Returns: Allowed within 10 days after delivery
  • Replacements: Only for items damaged on arrival

Care Guide

Allow Proper Heat Cycling: After installation, allow the exhaust system to complete several normal heating and cooling cycles. Inspect mounting hardware and connections once the system has cooled completely.

Keep the Heat Wrap Clean: Avoid contaminating the thermal wrap with engine oil, fuel, coolant, aggressive solvents, or other flammable chemicals. Clean accidental contamination according to appropriate exhaust-component procedures before operating the vehicle.

Inspect Regularly: Periodically inspect the headers, welds, flanges, fasteners, thermal wrap, and surrounding components for signs of exhaust leakage, loosening, excessive heat exposure, or physical damage.
